The South Nelson Parent Advisory Council is comprised of a vibrant group of parents that meet the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm in the school library or on zoom.  Our school Principal, Dawn Snell, is present for the meetings and gives the Principal's Update and receives any questions.  On some occasions PAC will host a guest speaker.  We meet to discuss matters that are affecting our school and our children’s education. We plan fundraisers and school events for the students and their families.

South Nelson PAC has been working hard throughout the years to create a sense of community at the school, to improve the school infrastructure and playground. One of our priorities was the creation of the natural playground located on the upper field.  An outdoor classroom and natural play structures were installed.  Trees were planted for shade and volunteers worked together on a natural garden slope and a garden bench to sit and enjoy the beauty of our school and community.

South Nelson PAC has established a healthy, affordable lunch program. 

We encourage new parents to join and we welcome new ideas.
