Congratulations to our students on a job well done at the winter concert! We had elves, snowflakes, snowmen and lumps of coal galore! The winter holiday sentiment was high and everyone enjoyed both singing and playing for our family and friends.

Our Gr. 4/5's introduced the show with a land acknowledgement and an Indigenous drumming song.

Outdoor learning continues to be a large focus at the school, despite the shift to cooler weather. All students enjoy the extra time outside and the hot chocolate breaks help to warm up!

Mrs. Bonikowsky's class has been learning about the provinces of Canada and what makes each of them special. Big thanks to our Gr. 4/5 students for hosting our Remembrance Day Assembly on Nov. 10. It was a beautiful time that honoured those who have gone before us to fight for peace around the world. We were joined by special guests, Mr. Gaschnitz (Past President of the Nelson Legion), and Sailor 3rd Class (S3) Madison Storey (Canadian Navy, Material Management Technician, CFB Esquimalt).
