The SD8 Board of Education invites you to attend a public webinar to learn about and provide input to the 2025-2026 budget for School District No. 8 (Kootenay Lake).

SD8 Secretary-Treasurer Cathy McArthur will present budget information, answer questions and listen to comments.

"Since 1967, International Literacy Day (ILD) celebrations have taken place annually around the world to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights, and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society."

SD8 joins the rest of Canada to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. September 30 honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.
