Hello families,

Welcome back from the weekend! I hope you had a great weekend. It looks like we still have some beautiful summer-ish weather ahead of us this week. Welcome back from the weekend! I hope you enjoyed the beautiful waning summer weather (despite the rain on Saturday!) and being together as a family. A warm welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.

On September 3, about 4,700 children will leave home in the morning excited to see their friends, full of anticipation and maybe even some apprehension about beginning a new year, a new classroom, or a new school.

South Nelson students and staff celebrated the end of the school year with an Olympic themed FUN day! There were 12 countries to visit with unique physical challenges at each one. Multi-aged groups travelled between the stations to work together to show off their athletic prowess and team work.
