Hello Families,

Congratulations on a successful Term 2! This term has been very busy with many learning events. I know everyone is looking forward to a good break.

Yay- spring break starts today!

See below for this week’s update.

Last week’s highlights include:

  • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory   – Several of our classes went to Trafalgar to watch their performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was a big hit and students enjoyed seeing some of their older peers, buddies and peer tutors in action.
  • Cardboard arcade – What a fun event! Our intermediate students worked hard on designing games made out of cardboard for other students to play. Parents, students, and staff alike enjoyed all the interesting challenges they could play. Great work!
  • Reading Link Challenge – We had the Reading Link challenge this week. Our intermediate students have been working hard over many months to read all the books for the challenge. Teams competed answering questions and two of our teams will be heading to the finals in May. Great work!
  • Play in the K – We hosted another successful Play in the K for our incoming K students. Spread the word! We have a couple more sessions in the spring. Little ones and their parents have enjoyed the relaxed and playful atmosphere as they begin to transition to Kindergarten.
