Hello Families, 

Here we are at the end of the school year! It has gone by so quickly and it has been such a great year of learning and building community together. Thank you for partnering with us in your child’s education. 

See below for this week’s update

Highlights from last week include:

• Fun Day – Huge thanks to Mrs. Douglas and all our parent volunteers who helped make this event a success! Students enjoyed all the stations and the tug of war in the afternoon. What a great way to end the year.
• End of year outings – Several classes headed outdoors to have year end classroom celebrations. Classes went to Lion’s Park and Lakeside for good times of play.
• Learning continued in earnest! Students were busy finishing up year end assessments, poetry writing, passion projects and presentations.
• Kindergarten celebration -Huge congratulations to our Kindies for finishing their Kindergarten year! There was a celebration with parents to highlight all the growth these students have achieved in their first year of  school.
• Gr. 5 Leaving celebration – We said goodbye to our Gr. 5/6 students who are leaving South Nelson and heading to Trafalgar. Students received a certificate and everyone enjoyed a slide show highlighting all the great experiences they have had this year   

A few pieces of information/reminders for you:

1. Lost and Found – Please come and see the lost and found! Anything left at the end of the school year will be donated.
2. Bus Registration – Please ensure you register for the 2025-26 school year
