Good evening out there, South Nelson Community.

Thank you to Mrs. Bonikowsky's class for their fundraising efforts and highly engaging math learning across the whole school through the jar guessing contest this past week.  This project raised $387 towards the gr. 4/5 students' choices of charitable organizations - Red Cross (Ukraine) & Habitat for Humanity - and brought a joyful buzz to the week across all grades.

Please be sure to read the important details in emails we sent home last week, including...

  • Traffic safety to keep the part Hendryx Street from the Hoover Street intersection to the end of bus pull-in zone clear at specific times for our buses, particularly during the slippery winter months.
  • Our Winter Concert on Thursday, December 15th with repeat performances at 1:00 & 6:00.
  • Our Gr. 4/5 'Story Basket' event for Gr. 4/5 families on Thursday, December 15th at 4:00.
  • Gr. 4/5 WH20 days on February 10 & 24 and March 3 & 10.  Note that information for winter/spring activities for other grades will come home after the break.
