OUR TERRY FOX RUN WILL BE HAPPENING ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 26th @ 1:30PM.

• K & K/1 classes will be running on the top field.

• Students in all other classes will be running on the Rail Trail starting at Mountain Station parking lot and running towards Stanley Street.  Students will be able to complete as many laps as possible within the time frame.

• We will have signage placed along the route and it will be clearly marked.

We are excited to announce that our school will be proudly taking part in the 45th Anniversary of the Terry Fox School Run on Friday September 26th, 2025. Here are some of the ways you can support your child for this year’s Terry Fox Run.

Fundraising Options

1. Donate online at: https://schools.terryfox.ca/99407

There is no minimum donation, every dollar counts! Our school goal is to raise at least $500.

Receipts for amounts over $20 are issued immediately to donors by email.

2. Create a student fundraising page and share it with your friends and family. Simply search for South Nelson Elementary at terryfoxschoolrun.org, select “Start fundraising” and follow the steps to create a personal student page.

3. Collect donations using the pledge sheet, which will be sent home with all students.  You can submit any cash or cheque donations you may have received, with your completed pledge sheet to your teacher or main office. There is no minimum donation and all donations of $20 or more on a pledge sheet will automatically receive a receipt.

Get your 45th Anniversary Terry Fox Run Shirts  

This year, there are special edition t-shirts available for purchase.  All sales from the t-shirts will add to our school’s fundraising total.  This is a very easy way of helping to support our school fundraising goals, and to get a very cool shirt at the same time!  Schools are able to make bulk orders to purchase the shirts, which makes ordering very easy and saves on shipping costs!

Youth shirts are $25 each and available in sizes 6, 8, 10.  Adult shirts are $30 each and available in sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL

We will be making a bulk school order this Friday September 12th so that we can (hopefully) have the shirts in time for our run on the 26th.  If you are interested in purchasing a shirt, please use this form to order, and then submit your payment to Princess Laura (you can pay online through the school website - “Terry Fox Shirts” in the notes section).
