Every week since the fall, a few of the Nelson Leafs hockey players have been volunteering in the intermediate classrooms. They have listened to students read aloud, practiced spelling, worked on math and so much more. Each week was rich in learning.  During their last week to the school, we had the pleasure of welcoming the entire team to play floor hockey with the kids.  It was so great to see the whole team come together, and celebrate student learning with coordinated floor hockey games. This was such an exciting treat! 

We are very grateful for the Nelson Leaf contribution to learning in our school. Their support and dedication has made a difference in the lives of so many students.
