Mrs. Bonikowsky's class has been learning about the provinces of Canada and what makes each of them special. To celebrate our own hometown of Nelson, students created their own book based on the book "If You're Not from the Prairies" in which the author highlights all the wonderful geographical elements of growing up in the prairies. Students were able to identify aspects of our own local environment that are important to them and that they'd like to share with others. Find a few sample pages of their book below.
