Halloween Fun for Gr. 2/3
Our grade 2-3 classroom at South Nelson is buzzing with excitement as we settle into the rhythm of learning. While our weekly forest visits are a beloved tradition, recent safety concerns regarding grizzly bears have temporarily kept us indoors. Nevertheless, our young learners are fully engaged in their studies. They diligently tackle their daily 5 reading and writing activities, and math is a daily adventure in problem-solving.
What truly sets our classroom apart is the kind and sweet nature of our students. Their empathy and camaraderie create a warm and welcoming environment, evident in the recent Halloween costume party we had. The festivities were a blast, with musical chairs, dance party, zombie tag and popcorn for all. Strong bonds are forming and it is looking to be a great year ahead.
