Mrs. De Sousa's class has been studying the rock cycle. They have been gathering rocks, making rocks (out of chocolate - yum!) and have a rock tumbler going to polish rocks. They have included their study of rocks into outdoor education.  They have also been reading and writing about rocks. They read the story "Everybody Needs a Rock", went to find their own rock, and wrote about them, using all their senses.
