South Nelson Elementary had their Jump Rope for Heart event on June 6th. The whole school participated in 12 physical activities to promote heart health. The 12 stations were run by Grade 6 Trafalger students. The school really went above and beyond in raising funds both in person and online, totalling $1900 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation! Our top fundraiser received a $300 donation, and two other students raised $250 each! Way to go South Nelson Community!
