Cardboard Box Arcade a HUGE success!

Image

The Gr. 4/5 students hosted a "Cardboard Arcade" for our school this week. It was a HUGE success!

Students spent weeks in the design process in which they had to create a fun and engaging game to play using only cardboard boxes (and any relevant adhesive products such as tape and hot glue). They had to determine the rules of the game, and use their knowledge of physics to come up with an inventive game. And inventive they were! There were floating boats, mini golf, basketball and soccer games, maze and claw games as well as cups and throw games. Some games even involved a student inside to maneuver the play.

Great job, Gr. 4/5 on a job well done and a great morning of play for our school!
