In the grade 4/5 classroom this month, the students have been engaging in their own Canadian Indigenous artist inquiry. They researched various Indigenous artists online to find one that resonated with them. From there, they found out more information on who they are as an artist, and their identity. 

The next piece was for them to create a piece inspired by the artwork of their artist. They had fun, did a fantastic job, and our hallways are adorned with beautiful art.
