Our grade 2-3 class had a blast learning about Arctic animals. Each of us became an expert on a different critter, like polar bears or Arctic foxes, snowy owl, beluga Whale, etc. We learned about habitat, physical appearances, diets and adaptations for living in such a cold place. Everyone made cool pamphlets to share what we found as well as recorded their voice with a cool QR code for our Arctic Mural. Our classroom was like a mini Arctic expedition, with all of us exploring and learning together. It was awesome to discover so much about these animals and to see how they survive in such a chilly place!
