Digital M. E. (Media Education) Workshop
Snapchat this? Instagram that! Children are creating digital lives and are rapidly developing their personal brand and identity.
We have an opportunity to help our children develop a strong digital citizenship foundation while reminding them that their digital footprint reflects their real and online selves. We will also look at the impacts of video games and digital addiction.
Students will encounter situations that will challenge their independence, including cyberbullying. We look at the dangers of anonymity, privacy, and social media websites. Ultimately, we need to be there to provide support and guidance for our children during this critical period of discovery.
